Biography

Prof. Oommen Varghese is a distinguished English language educator and IELTS trainer with a remarkable career spanning over four decades across five countries. He holds a Master's in English, a Master’s in Education, and a TESOL qualification from the United Kingdom.

Prof. Varghese began his academic journey as an Assistant Professor at Saifia College, Bhopal, India. His international teaching assignments include serving as Education Officer for the Ministry of Education in Nigeria and later as a personal English tutor to the ruling family in the United Arab Emirates. He has also contributed as Head of the Department of English at the College of Science and Technology in Ayur, India.

Currently, Prof. Varghese holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Communicative English at the Kerala State Civil Service Academy and serves as a Resource Person for the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. He is also an accredited Teacher Trainer and English Language Trainer for Trinity College, London.
