Dr. S. Bhattacharya is a distinguished Space Engineer and Scientist with over 36 years of engineering research and hands-on experience, specializing in Signal Processing. His career spans some of the world’s leading international space research organizations and radar manufacturing companies.

He served as the Principal Designer for payloads on several major ISRO satellite missions, including RISAT, INSAT, GSAT, and OceanSat, and has contributed to ESA’s Solar Orbiter mission. In addition, he held the role of Principal Technical Lead at BAE Systems, UK, and is currently working as a Principal Engineer at CMR Surgical, a global leader in medical robotics innovation.

Beyond his industrial achievements, Dr. Bhattacharya is a passionate STEM ambassador, educator, entrepreneur, and open-source advocator. He is deeply committed to nurturing future innovators and engineers through interactive and accessible learning.

An enthusiastic academician, he actively mentors students across various domains through multiple online and offline platforms. His key focus areas include Electronics, Robotics, Machine Learning, Signal Processing, Python programming, and FPGA development.
